On October 30th the Saskatchewan Aviation Hall of Fame inducted Al into their Hall of Fame. 2024 marked his 45th year of service to countless aviators and training several AME's. All of this was spent in the ol' green hangar at the Yorkton Airport. He was first hired to paint that hangar; then asked to be a human flagger; then asked to help in the shop! Al has remarkable mechanical skills, a common sense approach to everything he takes on. 'No one really likes challenges," says Al, "but I always took them as an opportunity to learn. I refused to ever give up. If man made it, man can fix it!"
